What does a set of cookies cost?
The first dozen costs $30. Every additional cookie is $1.25. A dozen is the minimum, but after that you may order any number of cookies you’d like.

Can you customize cookies for my order?
Of course – those orders are my favorite! You may order from any of the sets seen, or let’s discuss something personalized for your next event or gift!

How far in advance do I have to order my cookies?
Generally, I ask for 10 days. However, if you need cookies in less time, definitely ask. I’ll do my best to fulfill your order. Often I will only need more time if it is a very busy time or if I need to order a cookie cutter specifically for your order.

How will my cookies be wrapped?
Unless otherwise specified each cookie will be individually and tastefully wrapped in a cellophane bag with a Cookies For Africa label on the back. You may request more than one cookie in each bag, as these often make very cute presentations. Keep in mind that the charge is still per cookie, not per bag. If desired, I can also present the cookies to you without the cellophane bags. There is no savings to you with this method.

Can I pick up my cookies?
Yes! We can easily set up a time for pick-up from my location in Ellicott City, MD. Two landmarks you may recognize are Howard High School and Long Gate Shopping Center. We are about 5 minutes from each location.
Alternatively, you can pick-up from McLean Presbyterian Church in McLean, VA. We do a drop-off there on Wednesday or Thursday of each week.

Will you deliver my cookies to me?
Depending on your location, yes. I will deliver anywhere within 30 minutes (as determined by me) of our location for $5. Anything
outside of that will be $7 and determined on a case-by-case basis. We will determine this during ordering.

Can you ship my cookies?
Yes! These cookies keep well and can be shipped. They are obviously fragile. While I carefully wrap and double-box my cookies with peanuts surrounding the inner box, keep in mind that I cannot absolutely guarantee a perfectly intact set of cookies. Also, because of the packing materials necessary to ensure your cookies arrive looking their best, shipping is expensive. The charge is $10.50 per dozen and $5 for each part of each subsequent dozen. Because the cost is higher and the net to ChildAlive is lower with this option, please consider pick-up or delivery if at all possible.

Child Alive. About 73% of your contribution is tax-deductible.

Do you take credit card or can I pay with my PayPal account?
Neither are options at the moment, but I’m working on it!
